I Will Start When?

You tell yourself that now just isn’t the right time, there is too much going on and you just aren’t ready to focus on your nutrition or fitness (or whatever it is you are putting on hold). The conditions need to be better, not as stressful, or not so busy. There is a whole host of things that are stopping you from embarking on a new journey- work promotion, focusing on owning a business, raising kids, holidays, birthdays, Sunday brunch- you name it.

Have you ever stopped to ask yourself if the problem is with the conditions or your mindset? Is your impression of what you should be doing too strict and daunting to think about taking on? Do you have a growth mindset or are you stuck on telling yourself “I am all or nothing?” I bet the issue here is your way of thinking and not the reality of taking action.

If you were to wake up a few days a week and do a quick workout or improve just one meal to have less processed foods then you are making strides to a healthier you. I love to tell my clients, “progress is progress.” The reason is that any effort is better than NONE! Let me say it again a little bit louder for the people in the back--” ANY EFFORT IS BETTER THAN NONE!”

So quit convincing yourself you can’t, or you don’t have time, or you will do it when __________________, and do something today- then do it again a few more times this week- and keep doing it. You can add more as you get comfortable with what you committed to. If you need help identifying what to do or for someone to help keep you on track- WE CAN HELP.

With our new virtual options, you have so much more flexibility and you can choose what works best for your current lifestyle.
